Dr Howarth is a highly experienced independent practitioner who treats from a private room within Sash Hairdressing. His practice is separate from the salon — treatments, advice, bookings and clinical care are entirely his own.
His approach is deliberately unhurried and information-first: the aim is to give you honest advice on what a treatment can and cannot do, so you can decide in your own time. If a treatment isn't right for you, he will say so.
Consultations are free of charge and carry no obligation.

What's Offered
Two kinds of line,
two approaches
Lines form for two different reasons — repeated expression, and natural loss of volume. Each is treated differently.
Muscle Relaxant Injections
Muscle relaxant injections such as Botox, for lines caused by expression. Relaxing the muscle that creates the crease softens the line and slows its deepening over time. Three standard areas are treated:
- Frown lines — the vertical lines between the eyebrows
- Forehead lines — the horizontal lines formed by raising the eyebrows
- Crow's feet — the lines radiating outwards from the corners of the eyes
Volume Restoration
For lines caused by volume loss rather than movement. As the fat pads in the cheeks thin with age, the lower face loses support and folds appear. Restoring that volume lifts and softens:
- Naso-labial lines — the folds running from the nose to the corners of the mouth
- Marionette lines — the lines continuing down towards the jawline
- Lower-face definition — discussed and planned at consultation
